Recall takes a regatta's public RaceSense tracking and draws every boat on the course map. Replay the race, look at the start and each leg, then pick your boat to get a debrief from Coach.
The first race of every regatta is free. The rest of the regatta is $50.
A real race with 18 J/105s, drawn by Recall. Wind is at the top and the tracks are colored by leg.
What Recall shows
Replay the race
The Race Viewer plays the whole fleet back on the course map at 1×, 4× or 16×, or scrubs to any moment. Each boat leaves a fading 2-minute trail, or you can show its full track. A boat whose tracker drops out turns hollow until its data is back. You can zoom in or open the map full screen.
Track colors
Color the tracks by leg, by speed rank, or by each boat's speed over ground. You can also show one leg at a time.
The start
The start chart shows where every boat was at the gun. Below it are each boat's speed through the start, a table of how each boat started, and the start findings. If a boat was over early, you can replay its start just below, or on the course map.
Around the gun
Drag the slider from a minute and a half before the gun to three minutes after, or press play, to watch the fleet line up and come off the line, with each boat's trail behind it. Each boat is drawn as a hull pointing along its course, or along its last heading when it slows right down. If its tracker drops out, the hull turns hollow until its data is back. A boat is only a dot before its heading is known, or when it is too small to show at the current zoom. Zoom in for a closer look. Pick a boat to highlight it and its Coach group and see roughly where it ranks upwind. A boat that was over early shows a red track while over, a dashed track going back, and markers where it went back and cleared, as in the start replay on the map.
Leg by leg
A table gives each boat's VMG, speed, wind angle, distance, time, and tacks or gybes on every leg, with upwind and downwind totals. Sort it by any column. Recall also lists findings for the race.
Place changes
One chart shows each boat's place at the start, at every mark, and at the finish.
A debrief for your boat
Pick your boat to follow its gap to the top 3, the boats near you, or the whole fleet through the race. Coach lists where you lost the most time and what went well, and writes a short story of each leg.
Your whole regatta
The regatta view puts all your races together. It shows your place in each race, what cost you time in more than one race, what went well, and your best and worst legs.
A one-page report
Your start, legs, roundings, penalties and Coach's findings fit on one page. Print it or save it as a PDF.
Official results
When a regatta is scored on Yachtscoring, Recall links its official results and uses the official places and race numbers.
Pricing
The first race of every regatta is free. The rest of the regatta is $50.

Where the races come from
Regattas appear here when Vakaros publishes them on their site. Recall reads the public RaceSense feeds, which carry race control and each boat's GPS track.
If you have your boat's own Vakaros log, open the race and add the .vkx file. Recall swaps your boat's public track for the full-rate track from your log. Uploads are public. Anyone who opens the race sees your track.
