Start: place among clean starters (V = Vakaros, ours = our check). DTL (Vakaros): the boat's own device figure from the feed, bow-corrected; the primary number (— = no usable fix). Check: our estimate from the GPS track (bow offset along heading, at the device's start fix ~0.9 s before the gun; ~ = interpolated across a telemetry gap). Late: our DTL ÷ speed toward the line (blank when our check is interpolated). Line pos: 0% pin, 100% RC. Heel: leeward heel at the gun. ▲ best / ▼ worst in column. Tracks by leg
GPS tracker tracks (bow offset is a few metres and omitted at this scale). Legs split at each boat's closest approach to the mark trackers. Pick a leg above to show only it. Colour: Rank shades each boat by its elapsed-time rank (yellow and boldest fastest, fading to faint purple; Highlight greys all but the top 3 or 10, and a picked boat outside them is drawn in white (dark by day) with its rank; hover a track for its time). Colour: Boat speed shades every stretch of track by that boat's speed over ground at the time (4 s average; dark purple slow, through teal, to yellow-green fast; grey dashed = telemetry gap; hover a track for the boat, time, speed and leg). The boats carry no wind sensor; wind direction comes from the fleet's steady upwind tack headings (cross-checked against a weather model). VMG = distance made good along the wind ÷ leg time. Leg TWA = median |TWA| while sailing steadily. Dist: distance sailed along the GPS track, metres (~ = bridges a telemetry gap of more than 5 s). Time: leg time and place at the mark.
